Fees

Initial 20 minute consultation at no cost. All other sessions £35 per session.

Registration

Mike is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works strictly within the BACP Code of Ethics for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

About Mike Howell

Having spent many years of his working life as a successful manager in industry Mike felt that there was "something missing" and he embarked upon a major career change.

Instead of measuring success in terms of profits or units produced, Mike now measures his success in terms of human happiness, the ability to deal with life's rough parts and the gaining of self knowledge.

Studying for three years under the tutelage of Liza Chera at the University of Derby, Buxton and gaining the Advanced Diploma in Counselling, Mike works from a Psychodynamic perspective and seeks to empower his clients to develop new interpretations, and to nurture their strengths and independence.

There are many reasons why a person might choose to come to counselling and Mike treats each person as a unique individual.

We all find times in our lives when things are not going too well and having someone to talk to can make a huge difference - It really can be good to talk!

Mike has also worked under the supervision of Andrew Hillsden to develop his work in the area of Past Life Therapy and Past Life Regression. Holding the Diploma in Past Life Regression with a 100% achievement rating, Mike is a full member of the Past Life Therapists Asociation.
